Who we are

StickerSwap Local is a small, independently-run tool to help local people swap FIFA World Cup 2026 sticker doubles. For any privacy question or request, contact the person who runs this app directly.

What we collect

• Your first name
• Your email address
• Your postcode district only (e.g. HA4) — never your full address
• The sticker numbers you list as needed or as doubles
• Swap requests you send or receive, including any optional notes
• Confirmation that you are 18 years of age or older

We deliberately do not collect children's names, exact addresses, or any information beyond what's needed to run the swap matching service.

Why we collect it

To run your account, match you with other users who have complementary stickers, and let you send and respond to swap requests. Your email is only ever shown to another user once you've both accepted a swap request with each other — never before that, and never to anyone else.

Legal basis for processing

We process your data because you've asked us to provide this service to you (performance of the service you signed up for), and because you've given consent at registration.

Where it's stored

Your data is stored securely with Supabase, a database provider that encrypts data at rest and enforces strict access rules so that other users can never directly access your raw data — only the limited information (first name, postcode district, and relevant sticker matches) needed to use the app.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your profile, sticker lists, and swap history are removed immediately (see below).

Your rights

You can, at any time:

• Request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correct any inaccurate information
• Delete your account and all associated data — see the Account page
• Withdraw consent by deleting your account
• Complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you believe your data has been mishandled

A note on account deletion

Deleting your account immediately removes your profile, sticker lists, swap history, and contact email from the app — other users will no longer be able to see or match with you. Your login credential (email + password) remains in our authentication system until manually removed; contact us directly to request this and we will process it within 30 days.

Children

This app is for users aged 18 and over only. We do not knowingly collect any information about or from children directly.
