Meet in public places only

Choose busy, well-lit locations like a community centre, school gate, or supermarket — never a private home for a first swap.

Bring someone with you if you can

Especially for a first swap with someone new, it can help to have a friend or family member with you.

No money should ever be exchanged

This app is for swapping doubles, not buying or selling. Be cautious of anyone asking for payment.

Never share your exact address

We only ever show a postcode district (e.g. HA4) — never your full address. Keep it that way when arranging meetups too; suggest a public landmark instead.

Trust your instincts

If something feels off about a request or a person, you're not obligated to proceed. Use the Report or Block option, or simply decline.

Concerned about someone's behaviour?

Use the Report or Block option on any request, or stop using the app and contact local authorities if you believe a child is at risk.
